Senior Executive - highly experienced at Board level – has operated as Finance Director and Company Secretary of various businesses in the private, charitable and public sectors for over twenty years.
Business experience ranges from companies with £50k to £30M turnover, from 1 to 1,000 staff. Made redundant on two occasions early in career and is keenly aware of the impact this can have.
This was one of the key reasons for setting up Aspire Management Services as we believe business owners need access to high quality support.
Results-driven owner of three companies, non-executive chairman of two others, and a director of a sixth. Scottish Enterprise Business Mentoring Scheme volunteer and volunteer director of two charities. Former board member of local chamber of commerce and treasurer of local retailers association.

Main Achievements:
- Our clients are delighted with the differences we have helped them achieve with their businesses. One has tripled his turnover in 14 months and another doubled her turnover in 10 months.
- Grew sales of software from £250k to £2.5M in three years, improving gross profit from £20K pa to £500K pa.
- Reduced £2.4M Overdraft to £1.1M Deposits in 18 months.

- Graduated with Commendation and Top Prize with a BA in Accountancy at Glasgow Caledonian University.
- Married, with one daughter and two golden retrievers (!).
- Keen musician – member of Scottish Youth Orchestra for three years, now member of local orchestral society.
- Ran the Ayr Half Marathon raising £1,000 for Yorkhill Children’s Hospital.
